Flu Care Survival Kit: Tips to Help Your Recovery

Flu Care Survival Kit: Tips to Aid Recovery

Have you bought the lie that if you do everything right on this mission to stay above the wellness line that you’ll never get sick?

Maybe you’ve never been so devoted to eating clean, taking your vitamins, reducing stress, and supporting your overall emotional and physical health with essential oils.

And then, whammo. You not only get sick but whopped with dreaded flu. It rips through your home like a tornado, taking down four of the five family members living at home. Even the dog gets sick. Ahem, true story.

So what gives? Well, real life.

If the Flu could be fought off with healthy eating and essential oils, can you imagine how many more people would be devoted to wellness?

The Flu is a force to be reckoned with.

Sometimes, it’s just not possible to avoid it.

Trust me. I tried my best! I wiped door knobs, diffused Thieves, and rolled on immunity blends. I even slept in my college daughter’s empty bed as soon as my husband started with a fever, and when my middle daughter started sneezing, I moved out of her room and to the couch. Yet the wicked germs finally chased me down after standing outside at a horse show for too many hours. The cold and dust certainly didn’t help!

It’s not the first time I had the Flu, so I expected to be wrecked for days on end. But that was not the case!

As I watched my husband bounce back first, I wondered if the same would happen for me. I believe our commitment to wellness before the Flu had an impact on our recovery post-Flu. And, while essential oils were not able to prevent the Flu, I also believe our use of essential oils were a critical part of our care, aiding in rest, breathing, and reducing discomfort, as well as increasing the speed of recovery.

If the Flu hits you hard, there’s hope for surviving and help for recovering using essential oils.

While I hope you don’t get hit with the Flu, if you do, the best first step is to consult your doctor. Likely you’ll be advised to sleep as much as possible and stay hydrated. Friend, seriously, those recommendations are non-negotiables, so let go of your commitments and ask for help. It will make all the difference. In addition to lots of sleep and drinking fluids, the Flu Care Survival Kit can help those two critical steps, which I believe led to our faster recovery and hopefully will help yours.
